Hand Made in London, these washable and reusable face pads are made using left over fabric from the Face Masks. I thought it would be a great way to use up the smaller lengths of fabric and avoiding adding to landfill. I have been using my pads for over 2.5 years and they're still going and my testers also loved them! When they’re about half used, I put them through the wash and have a rotation going to avoid running out. Once that habit was formed, I’ve not needed to buy any cotton wool pads from the shop and it has saved that little bit of rubbish from landfill.

They have a layer of thin padding inside to help them feel a bit puffier and substantial. The square shape is nice and can be folded to maximise use and the corners are useful, too. The microfibre is lovely and soft and I actually use mine to put toner and serums on, too.

Some things to note:

All patterns on the fabric are random so each pad will be different depending on the placement. Some patterns are a little more spread out so some pads might have less or more pattern. This means that fabric is used as much as possible, lowering wastage.

As the fabrics are left over from the face masks, the designs are limited, however depending on popularity, I may decide to keep a core collection.

The microfibre is white, Ivory or cream depending on the fabric design so therefore cannot guarantee that they wont stain from mascara, pencils, oils or other products.

It is best to wash these in a laundry bag so they’re not loose in the machine. A short cycle on either 30 or 40 is OK. I’ve use mine in the tumble drier on a short, not too hot a cycle and they’ve been OK, however line drying is best.
